Angie’s Curse to release new album by Fall 2015!
On Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Golden China’s “The Coven”, Angie’s Curse debuted a new darker sound as well as three new songs and plans to release a new album by Fall 2015. Angie’s Curse shared the stage that night with “Leave the Stars“, Ventura’s newest Indie Band, “13th Sky“, a 80’s Post Punk/Dark Alternative Band based out of Los Angeles, CA and “One Last Caress” a Death Rock Band based out of Fresno, CA.
Daniel Niemeier who puts on The Coven has provided our small Ventura community of Dark-lings, a great entertaining local night for dancing and live performance bands. DJ Verlust plays true Post Punk, Goth Rock and Death Rock music throughout the night to get everyone to enjoy the dark vibe, mingle with fellow attendees and dance. Golden China has karaoke every night of the week, and The Coven often allures it’s customers to the dark side by its beautiful people dressed in dark attire.
The Coven returns Saturday June 13, 2015 and will be presenting 2 new DJ’s to the line up(DJ Th@d, and Dimitri Slithers) along with our very own DJ Verlust… mark you calendars and get ready to take another trip through the dark and delightful realms of true Goth!
Angie’s Curse will perform with Dead of Night, The Vigils and Seeing Red at Emilio & Alicia’s 9th Annual Halloween Costume Party!
Angie’s Curse will rock the stage with local favorite, Dead of Night, LA’s newest up and coming band, The Vigils as well as Seeing Red at Emilio & Alicia Marie’s 9th Annual Halloween Costume Party. Angie’s Curse has played every year for the past 9 years and the tradition shall continue this year at Billy O’s Restaurant & Saloon, 2819 E Main St, Ventura, California 93003 – Save the date! Oct. 18th – 7:00pm – Sunday, October 19 at 2:00am. COSTUMES ARE MANDATORY!
$11 Cover Charge at the door (which includes tickets for 2 drinks/beers/sodas, 2 slices of pizza, or a combo of both)
Cover charge of $11 – Includes 2 tickets for 2 items of the following:
*well drink
*beer
*soda
*slice of pizza or
*combo of both drink and pizza
Cover charge will pay not only for the food, drinks, but also for the 4 bands and all the prizes and the raffle.
$1 – 50/50 (50% cash winner/50% party decorations)
We will have 3 Halloween Costume CASH prizes, and a 50/50 cash raffle.
DJ Darko shall spin some tunes for a huge variety of dance music as well as E and A’s Halloween Party playlist.

A personal “Thank you” to Cirque Noir’s drummer, Chris Coyle!
The band members of Angie’s Curse would like to personally thank Chris Coyle (Coyle) for filling in on drums while we were in search for a permanent replacement. Coyle is an exceptional musician and his determination for his excellence shined through in our live performances and the recording of our new e.p. dead world. Coyle not only was a joy to work with but he conveyed a great dynamic to our signature sound. Please stay tuned in the next few days, for a few of the video performances that were given to us with Coyle as our drummer.
